Wynyard Wood is a law firm built on a strong tradition of client service. This includes a prompt and personal response from lawyers who are fully conversant with the commercial and private needs of clients across a range of sectors.

Our origins go back to 1894 and we have grown with our clients and served their changing needs for over a century. We offer a wide range of general and specialist legal advice through our offices Highbrook (East Auckland) and Warkworth.

Our advice is based on the in-depth experience delivered by partners who take a real interest in their clients. We aim to provide legal guidance that is both effective and efficient, and our clients range from individuals and families to emerging businesses and established and successful international companies.

As a mid-sized law firm, we believe we hold an advantage over larger firms by being able to provide a personal legal service whilst maintaining excellent standards of advice. Large enough to provide specialist legal advice on matters from the simple to the most complex, but compact enough to maintain a personal relationship, we focus on customising our approach so that each client’s needs are met.

We make it our business to keep up to date with the application of existing law and new developments in both law and practice. Solicitors regularly attend external seminars and training events. We maintain our own in-house legal education program, and Junior staff are closely supervised by partners at all times.

We provide a team of professional lawyers across our three offices who can identify and meet the specific needs of each client. We offer high levels of partner attention but take care to ensure that work is dealt with at the most economic level.
