We are excited to share some important news from Wynyard Wood.
After practising as a partnership in various forms for over 100 years, the time has come to make the transition to an incorporated law firm. From 1 April 2022, the practice will change from the partnership known as Wynyard Wood Lawyers & Notaries to an incorporated law firm called Wynyard Wood Limited. We will continue to be known as Wynyard Wood.
What it means for you
The change in our legal structure does not mean there will be any change to our commitment to you as a client of Wynyard Wood or to the values that we strive to uphold – expert strategic advice with pragmatic and commercially minded solutions. The same people that you know and trust will continue to work on your matters including partners, lawyers and support staff. There will be no change to the services we provide.
There will be a small difference in our invoicing, however, our bank account numbers will remain the same, including our trust account number. Any funds currently held on trust will continue to be held on the same basis as existing instructions but in the name of Wynyard Wood Limited.
There is no change to our terms of business other than from the partnership to Wynyard Wood Limited.
We’re ready for what’s next
The change to a corporate structure will allow Wynyard Wood to continue to grow and develop to serve the needs of the community and clients and ensure that we are ready for what’s next.
We are happy to answer any queries you may have. Otherwise, unless you have any concerns, there is no need to do anything.
We are excited about the change and look forward to continuing to work with you.
